Senior Biologist, Project Manager, Principal

I have 25 years of experience in fisheries/aquatic science and environmental consulting throughout BC. I have led, supported and collaborated on a wide range of Projects for government, First Nations, conservation, and industrial sectors. I specialize in implementing environmental assessments for hydropower, transportation, energy, and urban development projects. In addition, I have been the project manager and technical lead for numerous multi-year fisheries stock assessment, recovery and monitoring, and habitat compensation/offsetting projects. I am also experienced in forestry and ecology‑related field research. 

I am a graduate of Simon Fraser University (Biology Major, Physical Geography Minor) and a Registered Professional Biologist in good standing with the College of Applied Biology. I am also a member of the Association of Professional Biologists of BC, the American Fisheries Society, and the Canadian Water Resources Association.

• Project and data management skills including: client-agency liaising, staff coordination and logistics, timelines and planning, budget tracking, data compilation and analysis, QA/QC reviews, and presentations/reporting

• Leadership, staff training and mentoring, professionalism, safety and technical quality

• Fish and fish habitat assessment, stock assessment, hydrometric monitoring, and water quality expertise

• Working knowledge of government legislation, protocols, standards, and guidelines, and environmental issues/considerations

• Extensive operational field skills and experience
